For access to this landfill, please visit one of our Council offices with a completed Warialda Rail Landfill Access Code User Agreement(PDF, 76KB) form and proof of address. Alternatively, email the completed form and a copy of your drivers licence or a utilities notice showing the property address to mail@gwydir.nsw.gov.au.
THIS FACILITY IS FOR THE USE OF GWYDIR SHIRE RATE PAYERS AND RESIDENTS ONLY. OTHERS FOUND USING THE FACILITY WILL BE PROSECUTED.
As a resident or ratepayer with access to the Warialda Rail Landfill you are subject to the following terms of use for the Warialda Rail Landfill Waste facility.
Failure to adhere to the terms of use may cause your access to be suspended or revoked.
- To not share or give out your access code to persons that do not reside at your property.
- Sorting your waste into the areas at the landfill site: metal, green waste, timber, offal/dead animal pit, mattresses and lounges, general waste, bricks and cement/rubble, general waste and tyres.
- Placing rubbish/items as far back into the areas as practicable to maximise the available space at the site.
- As new waste separation areas are provided your rubbish will be sorted and disposed of accordingly.
- No tailgating through the gates.
- No asbestos (Disposal available at Warialda Landfill).
- No chemical waste (Dispose at Annual household Chemical collection events).
- No liquid waste.
- No petroleum or oil products (Disposal available at Warialda Landfill).
- No scavenging.
- Access during daylight hours only.
- Disposing of only your waste.
- Not disposing of waste from other properties outside of the Warialda Rail area.
- Advise Council if you are moving or renting your property.
- Advising Council of any issues at the site.
- No commercial waste.
- Follow directions given by staff on the site.
- Follow directions on signage at the site.
- No smoking or lighting fires.
Residents are reminded that the centre may be closed during and as a result of wet weather, emergencies or poor visibility.
Your assistance in sorting waste and recyclables and disposing of them in the nominated areas is appreciated.
Please follow all signs and directions from staff.

- Visitors must obey signs and/or directions from staff
- Scavenging, entry onto waste piles or removal of materials is not permitted
- Children, animals and pets must remain in vehicles at all times
- Enclosed footwear must be worn at all times
- No smoking or lighting of fires permitted
Penalties exceeding $200 may apply for non-compliance with site entry conditions.
Council asks all users to help keep the facilities tidy as additional clean-ups will result in increased waste disposal charges.
