Naroo Hostel is currently looking for a Recreational Activities Officer to empower and engage with our residents to maximise their participation in leisure and lifestyle activities.
Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our activities officer facilitates this through:
- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of Therapeutic Plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their lifestyle choices and activities.
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs
Ideally you will have:
- Cert 3 in leisure and lifestyle (Desirable)
- Experience in Aged Care or supporting residents with lifestyle and leisure programs.
- Energetic and effective communication
- Flu Vaccination
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government, Aged, Disability and Home Care (State) Award.
Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience and in line with the Award.
